Rye, Kent

This garden design in Rye needed a new look to go with the house whilst also creating a space in the front where it’s easier to drive in. There are a few metal cubes hidden among the grasses and perennials that work well together. They catch the eye and add balance. We intended to create this big front garden into a welcoming and visually appealing space from the start. We wanted the house to stand out and make visitors remember their arrival.

We were able to play with the structure and texture of the area because it was big enough that every visitor’s approach to the house seemed planned, memorable and lovely. The meticulously positioned metal cubes give the plants a modern edge that makes them more interesting without taking away from their natural charm. We love this Garden design in Rye because the light reflects off the cubes’ metal surfaces.

There are lots of attractive grasses and carefully picked perennials around these statues. In the spring, summer, autumn and winter, they work together to establish a planting plan that is both dynamic and harmonic. This front garden has a mix of bold, modern features and soft, lush landscaping that makes it usable for everyday use and gives it a serene and stylish look.

This modern garden design in Rye is a great example of how creative design and coastal plants can work together to create a space that is both attractive and relaxing. A series of sleek, black sculptural cubes are the garden’s focal feature. They stand out in the garden and attract the attention right away. The straight, clean lines of the cubes appear against the soft, flowing textures of the land around them.

There are a lot of pretty grasses and perennials planted in the garden beds around these artistic sculptures. The sharp, whispy grasses add movement and lightness to the garden design in Rye. Perennials like Echinacea, Salvia, and Gaura that have been carefully chosen to provide bold colours and beautiful flower shapes to the grasses that just adds to the coastal theme the owners wanted. The way the garden is set up makes people want to go out and look around and explore.

There is a gently curved promenade built of light-colored paving stones that goes through the area. Pebbles line this path, giving it a sleek, modern but costal look and adding a texture that blends well with the rest of the design.  The garden’s careful planning is shown in the placement of the sculptural cubes and the choice of year-round plants.

The structural parts give it a sculptural look that sticks out from the softer flora. You can do more than simply stare at this garden; you can also feel it. This design works whether you want a quiet place to think, a lovely place to have outdoor events, or a safe place for animals to be outside in. The result is a modern but welcoming hideaway that highlights the beauty of opposites, where bold, modern art pieces have a coastal theme, enhancing the beauty of nature. You may relax and gain ideas in this garden all year round in this garden design in Rye.
