Deal Garden Design
Our garden designs in Deal, in Kent, are shaped rnwith creativity and a true passion for plants.

We have been established on the Kent coast alongside Deal for over a decade
Ivy & Whyte Garden Design provide garden design services to customers in coastal locations such as Deal and enjoy working with the unique characteristics of designing gardens by the sea. Coastal garden design opportunities in Deal, Kent, are particularly challenging due to its position on the East Coast of England and the harsh weather conditions associated with it. We have been established on the Kent coast alongside Deal for over 10 years and have vast experience with different environmental and site challenges.
Whatever the size of the garden or the brief for the design concept – we work with it all to create a unique garden design in Deal just for you to enjoy! We design gardens for both large townhouses and small cottages located along the Deal seafront, and often find hidden garden spaces that previous owners have overlooked. These hidden spaces, usually located at the front of the property and overlooking the sea, face the same issues as the rest of the garden: they are battered by strong winds and salt spray during the winter months.
Deal is exposed to the full force of the winter storms and wind, and as a result, many of the plants used in garden design are damaged by the high winds. Therefore, when designing gardens for clients in Deal, we always consider the safety and health of the plants.
We are coastal garden design specialists and have been doing this for many years so we know exactly what will work best for you and your garden. Our ultimate goal is for you to fall in love with a garden that is thriving in its location.

Covering 325 miles of the South East coastline
Designing beautiful stunning coastal gardens
Our experience in coastal garden design means we understand which plants thrive in this location and which materials withstand the harsh coastal environment. We also know the location of the most beautiful coastal properties in Deal and have completed many garden design projects in this area.
We use a variety of materials in our coastal garden designs, and those we choose for our garden designs in Deal, Kent, are specifically selected to withstand the high winds and salt-laden air experienced in this coastal location. We select the best plants for our coastal garden designs in Deal, taking into account the garden’s specific location and local climate. We leverage our knowledge of the local climate to create garden designs that maximise natural light in coastal locations.
Whilst also selecting a tailored planting list, we carefully consider the layout of your garden ensuring material harmony and a unique journey that suits you and your needs. We present the design using a range of realistic 3D imagery to show you exactly what you will get when the build is complete.
Over the years, we have completed many garden design projects in Deal and the surrounding areas, such as Walmer. We have long lasting relationships with landscapers in the area to guarantee you a smooth and thorough construction. Each project has been very different and presented new and interesting challenges.
