We designed this garden in Folkestone to have a coastal feel to it. Our aim was to bring the calmness of the beach by using natural textures and relaxing colours. The planting allows you to easily flow through the garden whilst still breaking up different areas. The beautiful stipa grasses gently flow in the wind, and the salvia, achillea and agapanthas bring vibrant colours and soft textures. This brings a fresh, calming feel to the garden. The plank paving is carefully placed to guide you through the lush and inviting planting beds. The planting down the walkway and the broken-up plank paving encourage slow movements. This allows you to really take in your surroundings and appreciate the planting.

This outdoor space effortlessly blends relaxation with socialising, enhanced by straight, clean lines and contemporary outdoor furniture that lend a modern edge. This makes the entire garden perfect for quiet afternoons, social gatherings and perfect weekends.

The swimming pool is beautifully framed by light grey decking, creating a sleek and contemporary feel that contrasts softly with the surrounding planting. Alongside the pool, beds of the perennial plants and ornamental grasses add texture and movement. They bring a gentle sense of calm and peacefulness to the space.

Borders of big, lush hydrangeas provide bursts of colour and fullness along the garden brick walls.
