We’d like to thank everybody for their support in the past three years with all things garden design and planting design. Whether you follow us for garden inspiration, advice or coastal planting design expertise, we are rewarding you for your following. The chosen winner will get a 2026 garden revamp with the introduction of a new planting palette to kickstart the scheme for you, and delivered to your door by us.

From small coastal gardens to large country escapes, we offer planting advice whatever the brief and requirement. If your front garden is in need of a little spruce up, or perhaps you’re ready to experiment with a totally new and bold planting scheme, we are here to help from the initial discussion to the implementation.
Our coastal planting design schemes are tailored to your garden’s unique conditions, taking into account the sun and shade, soil type, and how you want to enjoy your space. Whether it’s naturalistic borders, bold structure, or wildlife-friendly planting, each design is rooted in horticultural expertise.
We take time to understand your vision, ensuring both beauty is combined with biodiversity to create planting that supports pollinators, birds, as well as year-round interest. Plants are sourced from specialist nurseries to ensure strong, healthy specimens for long-term success.
Tailored Service – Coastal Planting Design
We offer a range of planting design services to suit your needs. From complete garden transformations with 3D visuals to simple planting moodboards. By sourcing plants with us, you get the benefit of our trade discounts and carefully selected schemes that you can’t get at a standard garden centre. If you’re just looking for guidance, we offer consultations to discuss your vision, provide expert recommendations, and outline the next steps for your project.
Maintenance Service & Planting Care Guide
We have a great relationship with our plant suppliers to guarantee you high quality specimens. To ensure these plants survive and thrive, offering seasonal interest, we provide a twice-a-year cutback and maintenance service. Your plants will only need two cut back sessions, one in Autumn and one in Early spring. We know all of these plants inside out so we happily visit for a few hours to make sure every plant is in good shape and ready for the next season.
For those of you that like to be hands-on in the garden yourself, we also offer a planting care list which gives you all the information you need about every plant. When it flowers, it’s blooming colour, height and any special requirements. We are always on hand to answer any further questions too.

What you need to do is follow us on instagram @ivyandwhytegardendesign and look at our latest post. Follow the instructions in the caption to be in with a chance.
You need to have a BN1, BN2 or BN3 postcode. Anywhere outside of this area will not be covered.
If you’re the lucky winner this is what you have to do:
– Send us a description of what sort of colours and styles you’re after
– Then we select and deliver them , you just need to plant them.
