Information you give us
When you use our contact, book-a-call or journal/brochure forms we collect the details you enter — typically your name, email address, phone number and anything you tell us about your garden or project. We use this information to respond to your enquiry and provide our services. Form submissions are emailed to us and stored securely in the website’s database. We keep enquiry data only as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry and any work that follows from it.
The Seasonal Journal & brochure
If you sign up for our journal or request a brochure, your name and email address are added to our mailing list, which is managed by Mailchimp (Intuit Inc.). Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link, or you can email us and we will remove you. Transactional emails from this website (such as your brochure) are delivered via Mailgun.
Spam protection
Our forms are protected by hCaptcha (Intuition Machines, Inc.), which may set cookies and collect technical data to distinguish people from bots. See the hCaptcha privacy policy.
Analytics & cookies
With your consent (the Accept button on our cookie banner), we use:
- Google Analytics 4 — anonymous statistics about how the site is used (pages visited, how you found us), plus Google Ads conversion and remarketing tags. Sets cookies such as _ga and _ga_* (up to 2 years).
- Microsoft Clarity — heatmaps and anonymised session recordings that help us improve the site. Sets cookies such as _clck and _clsk (up to 1 year).
If you choose Decline, none of these load and no analytics cookies are set. Your choice is remembered in a single cookie, iw_consent (12 months if you accept, 6 months if you decline). To change your mind, delete this site’s cookies in your browser and the banner will appear again.
We also use Ahrefs Analytics, a privacy-friendly service that collects aggregate visit statistics without setting any cookies and without identifying individual visitors.
Embedded content
Some pages display our latest Instagram posts. This content is loaded from Instagram (Meta Platforms), which may collect technical data such as your IP address when it is displayed. The Google reviews shown on this site are stored on our own website — viewing them sends no data to Google. Links to our social profiles (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) take you to those platforms, which have their own privacy policies.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to or restrict how we use it. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@ivyandwhyte.com. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

We may update this policy from time to time as the site or the tools it uses change. The latest version will always be on this page.
