1. What services do garden designers in Kent and Sussex offer?

We offer three main design services and these are: garden design, planting, and a design consultancy. Each project requires something different so you may be looking for a full garden design package which includes a range of 3D visuals, a full site survey and scaled plans. Alternatively if you don't need a design and just need some new plants, we can offer this too! For those who just need some design ideas to get started, we also offer a two hour consultancy service. You can find more about this at the 'Services' section on our website.

2. How much does it cost to hire a garden designer in Kent and Sussex?

This is a highly searched question and the answer varies, a good way to cost it is: the garden design cost is roughly 5-10% of the overall project budget for the garden build.

3. Can garden designers in Kent and Sussex work within a specific budget?

Yes we design to a budget. Typically we are given a limit or a range to work to and we design accordingly, ensuring you have a beautiful garden that fulfills your brief whilst also staying within your budget.

4. Do garden designers in Kent and Sussex provide maintenance services after the initial design?

Yes we are with you throughout the whole process, from the initial consultation through to the completed build and beyond. We are there to guide you through the project, assisting you at every stage ensuring the project runs smoothly. Following the garden build we offer a maintenance service for your new planting scheme. From weekly to twice yearly visits, our experts will help you to nurture your garden and ensure it remains a beloved space just for you.

5. How long does the garden design process typically take in Kent and Sussex?

A garden design process typically takes between two and three months from the initial consultation to design completion. This is dependent on your own timeline and whether you want your project to be built immediately or slowly over time. The size of the project also impacts the timescale as well as how quickly we receive revision comments.

6. Are there any specific regulations or permits required for garden design projects in Kent and Sussex?

The regulations and permits required for garden design projects can vary depending on several factors, including the location, scale, and specific features of the project. Some regulations and limitations on projects can be things such as: TPOs (tree preservation orders), local building codes and environmental regulations, which often depend on your location and whether you are in a conservation area or not. These regulations and codes will be researched prior and the garden design will adjust accordingly.

7. Can garden designers in Kent and Sussex incorporate sustainable or eco-friendly elements into their designs?

Absolutely we can and this is something we always consider. All of our projects are approached with an environmentally conscious mindset. Whether this be using reclaimed materials, native planting or bee homes, each project has its own strategy.
