Senior Designer
Senior Designer : Charmaine started her design career in the art and design field, she gained experience in gardening through Sissinghurst Castle and qualified through Hadlow College. She is our lead designer and loves the satisfaction of creating amazing gardens with a difference. Charmaine has created a design brand Asem, using her design skills to create screen prints and fabric garments. She is also a great lover of wildlife and long walks.
Project Manager
Project Manager : Mark created a landscaping company in 2000 which has developed into one of the most prominent landscape companies in Kent with a great team of over 25 staff. He also opened a plant shop to compliment the business six years ago and now spends most of his time dedicated to design which he qualified through Hadlow College 20 years ago. Mark enjoys photography, sea swimming, cycling and has an interest in meditation.
Senior Designer
Senior Designer : Annabelle is a designer with much experience in the architecture and design genre. With a passion for art and innovation, she brings fantastic skills to the team and is always eager to create amazing outdoor spaces. Annabelle has recently won ProLandscaper's 30 Under 30 Awards, recognising young talent in the industry. She is also a lover of painting and has a side-line of creating pet portraits.
Technical Designer
Technical Designer : Tom has joined the team with various experiences within the construction industry, and is also in the process of completing his masters degree in Architecture. Tom has a passion for precision and detail which helps him to design unique outdoor spaces. Tom is also a keen illustrator as well as a Lawnmower Racing champion.
Design Assistant
Design Assistant : Matt's creative venture began with his experience within the Photography industry. With a love of gardens and enjoyment of the outdoors, Matt joined the team at Ivy & Whyte. He also volunteers for the RNLI and is a lover of sea-swimming.
Ivy & Whyte are successful show garden RHS award winners at Hampton Court Palace Flower Show in 2016 and 2017.
They have appeared on various media outlets including Sunday Gardening on BBC Radio Kent and BBC1 Garden Rescue. More recently they helped design and build the RHS garden at Hampton Court 2019, their ‘Not For Sale’ Tusk Show garden was re-located as a permanent feature at Woburn Safari Park. The balance of Charmaine’s art skills and Mark’s landscaping experience, Annabelle’s visual creativity, architectural background and CAD, provide clients with a comprehensive service. Their friendly, personal service mean clients can feel relaxed and confident that they are being looked after by enthusiastic professionals. Ivy & Whyte are also members of the Association of Professional Designers which offers extra peace of mind to an already highly credible design practice.
